The WESI Climate Hub is our flagship initiative dedicated to fostering environmental awareness, leadership, and action among secondary school students across Nigeria.
Each Climate Hub functions as an eco-club within a school, coordinated by a teacher and led by a student council.
Through weekly activities, creative projects, and real-world engagement, students gain hands-on experience in tackling climate change and environmental challenges within their communities.
WESI aims to establish Climate Hubs in every secondary school in Nigeria by 2030 — creating a nationwide netwoof young environmental advocates working together for a sustainable future.
By reaching students early, we are instilling the knowledge, values, and confidence needed to tackle the climate crisis. Our hubs are more than clubs — they’re launching pads for a lifetime of ecological responsibility and civic engagement.
