Eco-Events

The Green school challenge:

The Green School Challenge is a friendly inter-school competition that inspires students to lead environmental projects in their schools and communities. From recycling campaigns and tree planting to energy-saving innovations, students showcase their creativity and commitment to sustainability. Winning schools receive eco-certifications and prizes to support further climate action.

WESI Eco Walk:

The WESI Eco Walk is a community-driven awareness march that brings together students, volunteers, and partners to advocate for a cleaner, greener Nigeria. Held in major cities, this event combines physical activity with environmental education—spreading messages on climate change, pollution, and conservation through banners, music, and street engagements.

Earth Day School Festival:

WESI’s Earth Day School Festival is an exciting annual celebration held in partnership with local schools to mark International Earth Day. The event features debates, environmental games, art contests, eco quizzes, and storytelling sessions. It’s a fun, educational day that ignites climate consciousness among the next generation of environmental leaders.
